Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Traqq handles personal data when you visit traqq.io, create a workspace, use a tracked link, or contact us. In this policy, "Traqq", "we", and "us" mean the operator of the Traqq service. Questions can be sent to patrick@traqq.io.
The data we collect
We collect account details such as a name, work email address, password hash, workspace membership, and security activity. A workspace may also contain creator records, link metadata, destinations, campaign data, imported order evidence, commissions, payout review states, API activity, and support messages.
When a Traqq link is opened, we may process the link identifier, timestamp, destination, referrer, browser or device information, IP-derived request information, and campaign parameters. We use this information to route the click, prevent abuse, and connect activity to the reporting selected by the workspace.
How we use data
We use data to provide and secure Traqq, create and route smart links, attribute revenue, prepare reports and payout evidence, respond to support requests, administer subscriptions, prevent fraud or misuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.
Customer data and tracking responsibilities
A Traqq workspace is generally the controller of the creator, customer, order, and tracking data it adds to the service. Traqq processes that workspace data on the customer's instructions to provide the product. Customers must provide the notices, permissions, and lawful basis required for their links, cookies, pixels, imports, integrations, and marketing programs.
Legal bases
Where European data protection law applies, we process account and service data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and protecting the service. We rely on consent where it is required, including where a customer chooses to obtain consent for its own tracking activities.
Service providers and integrations
We may use carefully selected infrastructure, email, payment, security, and support providers to operate Traqq. Stripe processes card payments. When you connect an integration such as Shopify, the data exchanged is also subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices. We share data only as needed to provide the service, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or support a business transfer.
Retention and security
We retain workspace data while the account is active and afterwards only for a reasonable period needed for security, dispute handling, legal obligations, billing records, or backup recovery. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data associated with your account by emailing patrick@traqq.io. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Cookies
Traqq uses essential cookies and similar technologies needed for sign-in, security, and service operation. We do not currently use advertising cookies on Traqq's public site. A customer's destination or connected tools may use their own cookies and policies.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. For privacy questions or requests, email patrick@traqq.io.
